1.Carbendazim is a widely used broad-spectrum benzimidazole fungicide to control a wide range of fungal pathogens on cereals, fruits, also used in soil treatment and foliage application on appearance of disease. Soluble acid salts give some control of Dutch elm disease when injected into the bark. May be used as a seed dressing or as a post-harvest dip 2.Carbendazim is also applied as mildew inhibitor in paint, coating, paper, leather and texitile
